[Special Economy=Eunji Kim]As the debate over the issue of constituency demarcation and other key bills continues, Saenuri and the Minjoo Party of Korea agreed to hold a plenary session on Friday.
Saenuri's floor leader, Won Yoo-chul, and Minjoo Party's floor leader, Lee Jong-gul, met the day before and finalized the above decision.
On that day of the meeting, both parties insistently played tug-of-war on how to solve matters on the table until the night, making uncertain whether the plenary session will be held.
However, the two factions' floor leaders decided, in the end, to process the “One-Shot Act” and the North Korean Human Right Act.
They also planned to meet after the plenary session to negotiate on the labor law, service industry development act, terror prevention act and constituency demarcation.
During this plenary session, there will be a briefing about Rep. Lee Byung-suk's arrest motion.
| 여야 갈등 끝인가?…29일 본희의 개최 최종 합의 [스페셜경제=김은지 기자]쟁점법안과 선거구 획정을 놓고 새누리당과 더불어민주당이 갈등양상을 연출하고 있는 가운데 29일 여야는 본회의 개최에 최종 합의한 것으로 전해졌다. 새누리당 원유철 원내대표와 더민주 이종걸 원내대표는 지난 28일 심야 회동을 통해 본희의를 열기로 결정한 것이다. 이날 저녁까지 상황은 이슈가 되고 있는 쟁점법안 처리 방식에 대한 줄다리기를 하며 서로의 입장을 굽히지 않았다. 이로 인해 29일 본회의가 개최될지 불투명 했었다. 하지만 여야 원내대표는 전날 심야 회동을 통해 이날 열리는 본회의에서 기업활력제고특별법(원샷법)과 북한인권법을 처리하기로 결정했다. 또한 본회의 직후 양당 대표와 원내대표는 '4인 회동'을 갖고 노동법, 서비스산업발전법, 테러방지법 등 쟁점법안과 선거구 획정에 대해 포괄적 협상을 하기로 했다. 한편, 이날 본회의에서는 새누리당 이변석 의원에 대한 체포동의안도 보고 될 계획이다. |
